2nd European Rice Congress

The 2nd European Rice Congress will be held on Wednesday, November 16th. After Paris, this time the breathtaking view of the Milan skyline from the 39th floor of Palazzo Lombardia will serve as the backdrop to the meeting of chefs, restaurateurs, the gastronomic media, agronomists, and researchers.
The topic of the day is the sustainability of European rice production, a key topic of the Sustainable EU Rice project, which has among its main objectives the promotion of the culture of Japonica rice.
Industry experts and researchers, as representatives of the three promoters of the project, Italy, France and Portugal, will intervene as speakers at the congress, and open up discussions and food for thought on issues closely related to current events.
During the meeting, there will also be time to illustrate the versatility of European rice with a live showcooking of both traditional and innovative recipes, revealing the chef’s secrets for perfect rice cooking.
