EUROPEAN SUSTAINABLE RICE AT ANUGA

From 7 to 11 October, Europe’s sustainable rice will be among the protagonists at the next edition of Anuga, the world’s leading trade fair for the food industry.

Anuga is considered a must for all stakeholders and professionals looking for business opportunities and the latest trends in the food sector and will be the ideal stage to present the objectives of our project, spread knowledge about European rice production and strengthen awareness of the value of rice farming.

During the German event, we will present the objectives of the Sustainable EU Rice – Don’t Think Twice project, the three-year programme promoted by Ente Nazionale Risi, Casa do Arroz – Associação Interprofissional do Arroz (CdA) and the Syndicat des Risiculteurs de France et Filiera (SRFF) with the aim of enhancing the value of EU-made japonica rice.

Over the course of the days, visitors will also be able to taste numerous recipes with rice varieties from France, Portugal and Italy thanks to the show-cooking sessions that will be held daily at our stand.

Anuga will therefore be an important moment of confrontation with the actors of the supply chain and of exchange of good practices and innovative ideas, within an international context able to tell of a continuously evolving system that has sustainability as one of its main assets.
